Combining Whyte’s trailblazing chassis design with the intelligent and powerful support of the Bosch Performance Line motor, the Whyte E-160 series will quite simply enable you to ride better, and for longer.
Fitted with a 625Wh battery, this eMTB offers more range than most of the competition – you’re always packing your own uplift. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor throws out up to 85Nm of torque, which is more than enough to soak up those sudden ramps that take you by surprise mid-trail. A sophisticated system of sensors constantly provides information on the bike and your riding, to deliver power in a way that feels natural but never leaves you wanting.
Whyte’s Optimised Trail Offset geometry pulls the front wheel closer underneath the bike for a more stable steering feel, with a longer top tube to maintain the right fit. The E-160 RS makes maximum use of this with a top-tier spec: a 160mm Fox Float 38 fork and Fox Float Performance rear shock handle suspension duties, while the 12-speed SRAM Eagle groupset with 4-piston Code R brakes takes gets you moving and brings you to a stop. Wide trail tyres in the form of Maxxis’ Minion and Assigai models will keep you stuck to the corners.
