When it comes to high-performance hardtails that won’t break the bank, the Whyte 901 is a hot contender. Taking advantage of Whyte’s latest Trail Geometry, the 9 series offers arguably the most progressive geometry to make it a highly capable trail optimised machine to take your ride to the next level.

The T6 aluminium frame is remarkably lightweight yet capable of withstanding harsh trail riding with ease and their new generation short offset geometry takes the 901’s handling characteristics to new levels. Trail features are tackled with confidence and control thanks to the RockShox 35 Gold RL air-sprung fork with 130mm travel, paired with chunky 2.8” Maxxis Highroller tyres aboard WTB tubeless-ready rims for additional comfort and grip. Tubeless-ready rims present an excellent opportunity for upgrades down the line without having to fork out for new hoops.

SRAM’s latest SX Eagle 1x12-speed groupset is just as smooth and reliable as you’d expect, delivering lightning-fast gear changes regardless of conditions. The mighty 11-50 cassette provides an impressive range, making short work of even the steepest inclines. Hydraulic disc brakes from TRP are powerful with smooth modulation, offering plenty of control on technical downhills. Complete with a RAGEi dropper post, the 901 is ready for some serious shredding.
