Constructed from lightweight aluminium, the frame features Whyte’s enduro-influenced geometry and handling that’ll make short work of downhills and technical trails. The Bosch 500Wh battery is hidden neatly in the down tube, providing plenty of battery life to power Bosch’s Gen 4 Performance Line CX motor. Boasting up to 250W of pedal assistance and an impressive 85Nm of torque, accelerating up harsh inclines is made easy.
Shifting is taken care of by SRAM’s 1x11-speed GX groupset, providing a wide range to help you up the hills with smooth and consistent gear changes. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are powerful with smooth modulation, keeping things under control on fast descents. To soak up any trail features, the Whyte E-505 is equipped with the RockShox 35 Gold RL suspension fork with 120mm of travel at its disposal. Chunky 2.6” Maxxis Forekaster tyres take care of any buzz and provide more than enough grip on loose technical trails.
