Our experienced and trained mechanics can handle all types of service and repairs to your bike, no mater the brand or complexity of the repair. Below you’ll find our different levels of services, which can be submitted online. When we receive your request, we’ll confirm your booking either by phone or email. Our workshops are organised using time slots. During our busier periods, these slots can book up quickly.
On the day of your service, we ask that you bring your bike in no later than 10.30am, or if you prefer, you can drop your bike off anytime the day before. We’ll endeavour to complete the repair on the day, depending on availability of spares.
Which Bike Service should I go for?
If your bike is up to 1.5 years old or seen little use, we’d recommend our silver. The Gold are ideal for older bikes or used frequently. Our Platinum is the Bee’s Knees and recommend it for any bike that requires a comprehensive service.
Silver £65
- Gears adjusted and tuned, cables inspected
- Brakes adjusted, cables and pads inspected
- Wheels trued and tensioned
- Visual inspection of BB and hubs
- Headset tightened if needed
- Chain wear measured and advised upon if worn
- Chain lubed
- Tyres inflated to manufacturers recommended specification
- Full safety check carried out and any advisories noted
- Bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers specification
Gold £90
- Gears adjusted and tuned, cables inspected
- Brakes adjusted, cables and pads inspected
- Drivetrain stripped off bike and fully degreased in an eco wash. (chain, cassette, chainset and both mechs)
- Wheels trued and tensioned
- Adjustment of hubs, headset and BB
- Frame cleaned
- Tyres inflated to manufacturers recommended specification
- Full safety check carried out and any advisories noted
- Bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers specification
Platinum£150
- Full bike stripdown
- Full drive train strip and degrease
- Frame fully cleaned
- Hubs, headset and BB stripped and fully serviced
- Wheels trued and tensioned
- Re-lubrication of all moving parts
- Bike re-assembled
- Tyres inflated to manufacturers recommended specification
- Bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers specification
Other repairs, including puncture repairs and replacing broken chains
Apart from the services above, we also carry out smaller repairs like punctures or individual jobs including building wheels and replacing individual parts. It is best to contact us directly regarding these.
