Placing an order
After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order for the goods and the delivery services you have required. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to Hoops Velo to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and will confirm acceptance by sending an email that confirms dispatch by the delivery service provider. The contract between you and Hoops Velo will only be formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation.
The contract will relate only to those Goods whose dispatch we have confirmed in the dispatch confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other goods which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such goods has been confirmed in a separate dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the Goods you have ordered;
- The delivery service provider does not deliver to your area
- One or more of the Goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers, or we have reason to suspect that there is a risk of a fraudulent transaction.
- You have used a discount code we note as not for that particular product, i.e you use the discount code on Wahoo! when we state it cannot be used on Wahoo! products.
- You select to ship to anywhere outside of our region, i.e the rest of Europe.
If we do cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us (in respect of Goods provided by us, and delivery services provided by the delivery service provider (unless amounts in respect of delivery are refunded directly by the delivery service provider)), from your debit or credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
When you sign up, you will receive a 10% discount code to be used across the site. Should you not receive this email, please contact us and we'll produce a one-time discount code for you. Please note, this code can be used on almost all products, but excludes bikes, frames, labour and already discounted products. The discount code can only be used online and not in store.
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase please feel free to return your goods within 14 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund. Any item (excluding food and underwear) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in ‘showroom condition’ with its original packaging and tags with a valid receipt/delivery note.
Returns can also be returned in-store at any of our Hoops Velo stores, including those made online.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in a saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty, cards, manuals and accessories).
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit and debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original transaction; cheque payments will be refunded in cash but due to banking restrictions can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt/delivery note.
Refunds will be made for faulty or incorrect items returned within 14 working days.
Accuracy of website content
Our website team at Hoops Velo work tirelessly to create the images and descriptions featured on our site and every effort is made to be as accurate as possible.
Published product details, specifications and suitability information are the best available at the time. Hoops Velo shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part/s required for the repair of an item. If you have ordered an item and it does not match your expectations based on its description on HoopsVelo.com we will provide you with a full refund upon the return of the item.
We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.
We will do our best to get all orders despatched as quickly as possible. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being despatched.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
We will never sell or pass on your name and address to any other organisation without your consent. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties.
All credit and debit card payments both online and by telephone are not stored or known to Hoops Velo personnel.

Shipping and Handling
We deliver to UK addresses only and only to the address of the paying cardholder. Prices shown on the website do not include postage & packaging charges. All orders up to and including £50.00 will have a postage and packaging charge of £5.00 inc VAT. All orders from £50.01 and above will delivered free of charge. Free Local Delivery applies to any order which includes one or more bicycles and deliveries can made to any address within a 5 mile radius of our Farnham or Walton branches.
Most prices quoted on this website include VAT at the UK rate of 20%. However some Products are zero-rated and therefore do not include VAT e.g. Helmets, Books and some Food products.
We always endeavour to keep advertised products in stock. Due to the large number of products that are available and sizing options we cannot guarantee this will always be the case. If ordered items are not in stock, you will be notified as soon as possible. These can be cancelled or left on back order. Any out of stock items will be posted as soon as they are available.

If an item needs to be returned to us please call the Farnham shop first to obtain a returns number. If goods are found to be faulty we will refund or replace them at our discretion within the manufacturers warranty period, commencing from the date of purchase. All returns, regardless of reason, shall be at the customer’s expense.
To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us using the personalised return label within 30 days following the date that the item was delivered to you. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
