We’re three shops based in Surrey. East Street Cycles Farnham started nearly 14 years ago serving the mountain bike and road bike scenes. We quickly established ourselves as one of the best bike shops in the area. Today, the same drive to excel in customer service is stronger than ever before.

In August 2005 we jumped at a great opportunity to open a second store in Walton on Thames. Being located within riding distance to the Surrey Hills we quickly established ourselves within the community as well-rounded cycle shop offering a broad range of accessories and components from top brands and top brands of Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes, Hybrids and Kids bikes.

Full-time Mechanic

Location: Petersfield, Surrey

We are looking for an experienced mechanic who can take a lead role in our busy workshop. 

Your number one priority will be to provide a professional level of service, completing repairs efficiently and to a high level.  In time you will get to know our customers by their first name and understand their individual requirements.

Qualities you must possess:

• An ability to work on the latest road, mountain and e-bikes.
• Have an interest in cycling and be enthusiastic about the products we sell.
• Be able to adapt and show initiative whilst showing an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Knowledge of suppliers and brands enabling you to order stock and parts needed for workshop jobs.
• Demonstrate a readiness to learn and develop.
• Be a flexible and committed team player.
• Cytech 2/3 Desirable

Sales Assistant

Location: Walton-on-Thames

The Sales Assistant role is much more than serving behind the till. The role is hands-on where no day is the same. We are looking for committed individuals to share their passion and knowledge with like minded cycling individuals of all abilities.

Your number one priority is to provide a great shopping experience of our customers. You will get to know our customers by their first name and understand their individual needs and requirements.

Your other duties will involve keeping the shop spick and span, arranging stock, plus helping to organise orders and deliveries.

About You:

• Have an interest in cycling and be enthusiastic about the products we sell.
• Be outgoing and have a friendly personality.
• Demonstrate a readiness to learn and develop.
• Provide a dedicated customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations every single day.
• Be approachable and able to demonstrate strong communication skills that are tailored to customers varying levels of cycling experience.
• Be a flexible and committed team player.

We have recently rebranded from East Street Cycles to Hoops and have had a complete makeover in store too. We also have a branch in Farnham and Petersfield.
