Keeping weight to a minimum, the FX 3’s frame is constructed with Trek’s Alpha Gold Aluminium, putting the rider in a stable and efficient position for confidence in busy town traffic and comfort on all-day adventures. The FX 3 model introduces an upgraded carbon fork, further reducing weight and capable of absorbing road buzz on rougher surfaces. Shimano’s 10-speed drivetrain is fast, smooth and simple to use thanks to the 1x system, paired with hydraulic disc brakes for confidence-inspiring stopping power in all weather conditions. Fitted with fast-rolling 35mm tyres, riding on the road is smooth and efficient while still providing plenty of grip and cushion for off-road detours. If that wasn’t enough, mounts for mudguards and pannier racks further cement the FX 3’s year-round riding credentials!
