The MX Competition Last, a highlight of the MX242, features an ample toe box and a tighter heel compared to the Comfort Last. It has a bit more overall volume than the Sport Last, guaranteeing a secure hold during hard riding or racing whilst offering enough room in the toe box so that it doesn't bind while running uphill or negotiating a hike-a-bike section.

The shoe incorporates a Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole, teamed with Mountain Competition real rubber sole. This dual combo grants extended protection and ground stability during your adventurous rides.

MX242 is constructed with resilient Helcor Abrasion-resistant leather, Eco-friendly full-grain leather and Nufoam lining.
